She particularly enjoyed working for a college through her gap year establishing the horses to a safe level for the college students, as the training process is something she is very passionate about. This was alongside progressing the horse she had at the time in Dressage and competing her up to Elementary whilst training at Medium before joining the University’s Equine Academy.
She has experience in marketing and event management which was found in her role as Communications Officer within the University Student’s Union. Within this role she has learned communication skills, organisation as well as marketing strategies for optimum engagement.
She has also developed skills in social media management and content creation alongside this. Following
graduation, she is keen to explore employment or postgraduate qualifications which would lead to a career in Veterinary Pharmaceuticals or Veterinary Epidemiology and Biosecurity. She is particularly interested in the impending threats from climate change on our national risk of equine exotic diseases.
