Celia Clarke

Celia Clarke is an internationally recognised grading, inspection and evaluation judge of warmbloods and sports horses. Author of the original rules and regulations of the BEF/ British Breeding Young Horse Evaluations and Futurity she also co-wrote The International Warmblood Horse with Debbie Wallin and the late Jane Kidd.

Awarded the BEF/ British Breeding Meritoire for Contributions to British Breeding in 2011, she is a past member of the DEFRA Equine Experts panel and a former Editor of the British Breeder. Currently she is Chair of the 826 Equine Studbooks Association (which represents the interests of DEFRA approved equine studbooks to governments and the wider world) and The Central Prefix Register.
