Sarah Stoneham

Sarah began her career in ambulatory equine practice before joining Rossdales, where over 20 years she developed expertise in foal medicine, perinatology and preventive stud-farm care. She established the hospital’s Foal Care Unit and subsequently worked in Thoroughbred and sport-horse stud practice, followed by four years as a veterinary nutritionist at TopSpec Equine.

Now a consultant and academic at the University of Liverpool, Sarah teaches postgraduate equine veterinary programmes. Her clinical research and publications focus on foal health, neonatal care, broodmare nutrition and colic.
